This resort is set on a beautiful location on a gorgeous palm lined beach on the Samana peninsula north of Punta Cana. You can see the whales who come to birth in Samana Bay! There is a reef just off shore where you can snorkel and there are lots of activities and entertainment, a kids club and kids pool with slides. The common areas of the resort have all been recently renovated with all new restaurants, beachfront pool with swim up bar. The rooms have large marble bathrooms and either king or 2 doubles. This is one of the prettiest resorts in DR, it has a beautiful coastline with lovely beach that never gets seaweed. It is located on the south coast of DR rather than east where Punta Cana is, and is much more relaxed with fewer and smaller resorts. Adults can use the adult only resort next door. The resort has been totally renovated and has a fabulous open air lobby with nice bar and speciality coffee shop. There are big water slides and a lazy river, as well as a kids club.
